Porto Heli lies on the eastern peninsula of the Peloponese and is easliy accessible by land and sea opposite the well known island of Spetse. A lovely medium sized fishing village that has a well balanced in-frastructue. Porto Heli itself and the surrounding areas are becoming very popular for many people due to the interesting geography and numerous nearby places to visit. With an abundance of water sports and safe sailing, plus a new international standard golf course being built nearby it really has a lot to offer. Getting there is fairly straightforward. You can fly to Athens, hire a car and drive there. The route takes you down a lovely coast road, with stunning views. Or you can catch the express tram from the airport to Pireaus. Then hop on one of the regular Seacat/Hyrdofoil services. Either way it takes about 3 hrs. You can also travel from Europe by car. One of the most popular routes being via Ancona to Patras and from Patras it’s about a 3-4 hr drive. See our ‘Getting Here’ page
